  1. South California, San Diego and Catalina Island from ORBX Classic Hangar Me 108 We get ready for departure The wonderful Balboa Park Sea World. I think I can spot an Orca in the main pool On the way to LA And on to Catalina Island Thanks for viewing
  2. Now that ORBX has launched its Germany South scenery, it will give me plenty of interesting POIs that I can visit there. This flight takes me from the Black Forest via Lake Constance, Neuschwanstein, Zugspitze, Innsbruck all the way to the Königsee. I have combined the ORBX scenery with free German photoscenery. ORBX gives me all POIs and the photoscenery shows me my world, as it really is. I have placed the photoscenery above all ORBX entries. The plane is the Carenado King Air 90. After taking off from Baden-Soellingen in the northern part of the Black Forest we head south towards Freiburg Over Freiburg we turn east for Lake Constance We have reached the western shores of Lake Constance and encounter some rain Friedrichshafen comes up with its airport and home to the once famous Zeppelin Over Füssen and the Lake Forggen Dead ahead and a bit difficult to spot is the castle Hohenschwangau. In the distance the much more famous Neuschwanstein palace We slow down to be able to view it in all its splendor Next “stop” will be Garmisch and the Zugspitze Over Garmisch-Partenkirchen Over the Eibsee we have applied full power in order to reach the top of the Zugspitze The Zugspitze with its panorama lounge Now it’s off to Innsbruck and then the Königsee Innsbruck and its airport Reaching the Königsee from the south is going to be a bit of a challenge due to the high mountains there We made it The picturesque St. Bartholomae chapel The flight will finally end in Salzburg Thanks for viewing. Btw, the biggest challenge of this flight was to bring down the screenshots from 96 to just 20
  3. Just Flight Canberra PR9, Freeware UK photoscenery, Envtex Over the Isle of Wight, heading NE towards the coast of Southern England Over Portsmouth with the Isle of Wight in the background Over Littlehampton Brighton marina The White Cliffs of Dover come into sight Just beautiful Thanks for viewing
  4. ORBX PNW The plane is the Sibwings An-2, I did this flight in October
  5. ORBX Germany South Freeware sailplane EnvTex The Schleicher ASW 22BL is a German high performance glider from the late 1980s-early 1990s that has been equipped with an engine. But instead of using an electric or small piston engine, it comes with a small jet engine that sits directly behind the cockpit and folds neatly into the fuselage, when switched off. Instead of running on aviation fuel, it uses regular diesel. The engine itself weighs just 35 lbs and produces some 350 lbs of thrust. Naturally, the sailplane can take off on its own; the engine gives it a climb rate of 2.0 m per second and a possible top speed of 220 km/h or 119 knots. Here we are already at 11,000 feet, close to the highest German mountain, the Zugspitze. It’s a superb sunny day in December and you can clearly see the small engine behind the pilot. I didn't go this high on my own though (I used "slew") and I doubt whether it would be possible in rl with the fuel on board. Below are the outskirts of Garmisch-Partenkirchen Now we head for the Zugspitze The “Schneeferner-Haus” sits atop of it Being up there offers you an unparalleled view of part of the Alps. But of course it cannot rival the view I have. By now I have switched off the engine and enjoy a slow and quiet glide It doesn’t get much better than this We got company Wow, this seems to be a busy place Let’s get outta here Thanks for viewing Btw, if you are interested, this glider and many more you can find here: https://www.fsglider.de/p_e.htm The site is in German and English. On its left site you'll find a whole bunch of different gliders from the 1930 to now. And if you scroll a bit down, you'll come to the gliders with jet engine. Quite an interesting collection and the best part is, they are all free. The guy has different sections, one is for FSX and P3D 3.4 (that's what I have) and another one is for v4. When you have a look at the jet engine powered gliders for example, you'll find these two options at the bottom of that page. It's the same with the other gliders too

  7. Freeware Germany photoscenery Austria Professional HD scenery Alabeo Waco biplane I have taken off from a small airport near the Bavarian town Deggendorf and head south-east towards the larger Bavarian city Passau. Both cities are located right next to the Danube river Over Passau. Here the rivers “Inn” (on the pics’ right side) and “Danube” merge. The river keeps the name Danube, but inherits the Inn’s color Passau is very close to the German border with Austria, so here I fly already in Austrian air space This part of Austria along the Danube is at least for me one of the most beautiful areas of Austria I don’t cover all the nice cities and small villages I pass, as it would blow this flight up to over 50 screenies For the ship traffic, the Danube has a couple of large locks I pass over the city of Melk with its famous “Melk Abbey”, which is one of the biggest and most beautiful European Baroque ensembles. It also happens to be part of the UNESCO’s world cultural heritage. Since 1089, Benedictine monks have continually been living and working here. As you can see from the number of river cruise ships, it is very popular with tourists too. Here the superb wine region “Wachau” begins I pass by the city of “Krems”, where the Wachau ends Vienna is dead ahead But before landing I want to show you another famous landmark, the superb “Schönbrunn-Palace”, former home to the Austrian emperors And now it’s on to Vienna’s Schwechat airport Thanks for viewing
  8. ORBX PNW Just Flight F-4 Birdcage Over the Anderson and Seton Lakes The eastern part of the Seton Lake With part of Mt. McLean to my left I fly into Fountain Valley If you look closely you can spot the Lillooet airstrip above the wing tip between the trees Thanks for viewing
  9. P3D 3.4 ORBX OLC South America Paulo Ricardo Sao Paulo and San Francisco scenery Global Ultimate mesh Milviz P-38 Lightning, now freeware Over Uirapuru Over Parati with its picturesque and secluded cove. Rio isn’t too far anymore The outskirts of Rio Thanks for viewing
