  1. Help! I purchased the Carenado DA62, as it has fully updated navigraph compatibility (as a real G1000 operator, I can say it's harder to enter waypoints in this sim than the real thing). Essentially, it's painstaking to try and enter the waypoints into the Carenado G1000if there's more than a few of them, and the interraction with selecting deps/arrivals and waypoints is completely backwards compared to the real thing. Question - Is there any way to download a simbrief flight plan into it? - similar to how you would with an Aerosoft Airbus for example? I can't see any Carenado options in the export/download list? I tried exporting as an FSX flight plan and uploading it through flight planner - but this doesn't actually upload the route, just the origin and destination I'm running FSX SE and have a full navigraph subscription Thanks Chris
  2. Hello, I have a question about how may I update the VOR, NDB, Waypoints, etc. for my simulator, P3D v3.4 I have the AIRAC Cycle 1704 and inside I have a lot of files and folders, and I really don't know how to install this. I saw a videotutorial explaining the process for X-Plane 10 and 11, and for those simulators is very easy. You have a RAR file which says xplane10_native_1704.zip and xplane11_native_1704.zip For X-Plane is so easy as uncompress those files in certain folder of the simulator (Xplane 11 or Xplane 10), you use Xplane10_native for X-Plane 10 and xplane11_native for X-Plane 11, and that is all, very easy. However, for Prepar3D I have no idea about how to do this. I see there are a lot of folders inside, and I suspect those folders are for certain aircraft you can purchase... for example I see the zip file jardesign_a320neo_native_1704.zip, and it is clear that file is to provide the AIRAC data cycle 1704 to that particular plane. However, what I want right now is to update the simualtor, that is, the VOR, NDB, waypoints, etc. get updated. I want the default aircrafts be updated, and the default database for all aircrafts, inside P3D v3.4 be updated. How may I do this? I really don't know what file should I run to update the simulator. Your help would be much appreciated!
  3. Hi Everyone, I just wanted to mention something that may or may not have been brought up before. I've been getting P3D stopped working errors in all versions in Windows 10 if I was using the Aerosoft Airbus and tried to change airports through the menu. I also would get crashes at times if I fiddled with the FMC inflight. I did a fresh install and the problem happened again. The source of the problem, in my case, was that I had the wrong box ticked in the Airbus configurator. There's a choice between what navdata to use: Navigraph or Nav Data Pro. Make sure to check the right one if you are using one of these products. Just thought someone would like to know... John
  4. H, does anyone out there know where to load the navigraph data for the B1900. I shown 2007 when I start up the avionics. Thanks in advance
  5. Hello guys, Have any of you being able to change the default 28000ft cruise level for the any flight plan using the Garmin Navigraph pack? I have the latest version of the plane and the ext pack and yet it is always defaulted to 28000ft, making the VNAV usesless since: a.) You have to change each way point to your real cruise level. b.) The Garmin is buggered and it doesn't allow me to change the altitude to something higher than 28000ft, or when you enter the next way point it reverts back to 28000ft. I opened a ticket with Carenado and their answer as 'usual' is to reinstall everything.. I have 8 Carenado planes (I like their modeling) but I must say their support is the most annoying think I have ever encountered, every time I find a problem their answer is: "re-install the plane", for god sake.. I always find solutions elsewhere on the web since theirs are useless. Any how, below are my Email to Carenado and their answer, today I told them that after re-installing everything the problem is still present. If any of you have this working correctly and know what I should do please let me know, if otherwise we all experiencing the same thing please also report it here.. I am now on a mission to make Carenado understand that this is a BUG and they need to accept it.. I swear to god I will post this issue and all Carenado responses everywhere on the web so people are fully aware of the bugs before they pay £9 for an extension pack that doesn't work correctly. Carenado Support, Sep 26, 18:56 CLST: Greetings, We suggest to download the aircraft and the expansion pack again from your account, as that issue was fixed. Don't forget to run the uninstallers before installing again. Regards, Carenado. Raul Morales, Sep 26, 13:56 CLST: Hi, I Purchased the expansion pack and it is working now with my the latest Navigraph cycle, however I have a issue with the cruise altitude + the VNAV functionality using the Navigraph Garmin exp pack with Phenom 300HD. The issue is that I cannot change the cruise altitude of the flight plan which it is always set to 28000ft and I cannot find a way of change it. As a result every way point of my flight plan is always pre-fill with 28000ft, if I prepare the entire flight plan and then re-visit each way point to change the altitude manually it doesn't allow me to place a figure higher than 28000ft and If I attempt to change the way point altitude intermediately after adding it to the flight plan it reset back to 28000ft as soon as you add next way point. If there any solution to this? Regards, Raul Morales
  6. Ok, so I have the wilco e-jets package among other payware and I just got the new airac from Navigraph. The problem is that I can't seem to be able to install it or even find the folder to manually install it into. I noticed that it may not be supported anymore, however since related add-ons that came out at the same time are still supported shouldn't it work? Has anyone else had this issue with the ERJs and AIRACS?

  9. Hello, I am trying to install AIRAC 1804 to PMDG 737NGX. I am using Navigraph. It says in the NavData Manager that the AIRAC is 1804. But on Ident on the FMC in aircraft it says it has AIRAC 1108. I tried to enter the path manually under: - Prepar3D/ - Prepar3D/PMDG Both do not work.
  10. hi, i am flying the Do228, AC690 and (Alabeo) DA-42. At least the Do228 has a basic FMC, the DA-42 has a G1000. I installed the latest Navigraph update for Carenado (filename "carenado_1712.exe"). I did that for the first time. However, the FMC and the Garmin does still show old data. Navigraph data has been installed into the following folder: "F:\Prepar3D v4\CarenadoNavigraph" How to get it working, that FMC/GPS shows the new airac data? thanks, regards
  11. Hey fellow pilots. I just installed my 777 in FSX Steam addition and I am trying to update the default AIRAC cycle. I use Navigraph FMS Manager and in the addon mapping I use the PMDG Products all and set the directory to my steamapps/common/fsx/ However, When I install the AIRAC my 777 FMS is still using the old Cycle. I noticed that the following directory is being created on the steam edition while it is not on the boxed edition: <FMCWP> and in it I have the correct cycle. Any idea how to solve this? Thanks Dekel Amrani.
  12. Since loading MSFS 40th edition, when trying to install the update to the AIRINC Cycle I get the following error EPERM operation not permitted, mkdir 'C Any ideas kev
  13. I usually do initial flight-planning in SimBrief, then import it into Navigraph to verify STARs, approach transitions, etc. I then import the FP saved thru Navigraph into the MSFS flight Planner after starting the sim. Once in the aircraft, no matter which nav system was being used (g1000, g3000, other, etc.) the approach and transitions I selected in Navigraph were in the FP exactly as I had chosen. Now, that's usually not the case. It appears since SU9 that the flight planner continually ignores the original Navigraph approach transition and inserts its own? Now, this hasn't caused any big issues, but its rather frustrating to have to reset the approach transitions for every flight! It happened again today. I chose the transition and IAF that would work best for the flight plan, only to have the flight planner over-ride it and choose an inappropriate transition. I edited the approach in the nav system and changed the transition back to the appropriate one. Isn't Navigraph supposed to over-ride the flight planner, not the opposite?
  14. Hi. I’ve been using this fantastic tool since MSFS was released but finally got frustrated with the differences between the pile of dung that is the MSFS navdata and the AIRAC in LNM so decided to spring for a Navigraph navdata subscription. I have successfully updated both the sim and LNM using the Navigraph tools but have noticed that when using Navigraph for procedures and navaids only and MSFS for airport scenery that taxiways are labelled incorrectly in LNM. This is weird and may be a MSFS bug because they are correctly signed in the sim and ATC also uses the correct names on the ground to direct you, but the labels on the map which should in theory come from the sim are still wrong. Anyone else seen the same thing or have I messed up the Navigraph data install in some way?
  15. Hello guys! So I had a Navigraph FMC Subscription, and my last AIRAC I could have was the 1911. I quit flight simming for a while, and recently wanted to try it back. I still have the Navigraph FMC 1911 installer, and I would like to download it on my FS Labs A320. But the problem is, it doens't work... I have no idea why... I run the installer, set the correct paths, but it just doesn't want to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙂
  16. I've just installed latest AIRAC 2207 onto my Ubuntu 20.04 system running LNM2.6.19 and I am getting a fake CTA across the eastern part of Wales from 3,000ft to 19,500ft https://ibb.co/KDfZG38 Here's the information about that area in the centre https://ibb.co/sJWsP53 After extensive searching on the Navigraph site I cannot find that CTA. From what I can see it's an amalgamation of a set of a bunch of CTAs as seen by this highlight https://ibb.co/6g0xr4c Which is a collection of at least 12 CTAs. I don't seem to be able to filter it out. I don't know how the data is presented and I'd be happy to know how to troubleshoot further if anyone knows how to report bugs. Best Regards The Secret Hamster
  17. I've seen this pop up more and more in various forums, including here, so I thought I would clear up any confusion on how this all works and help the community, especially new users, in getting updated NAVIGRAPH data into XP11. Firstly, it is important to note that in order for all of this to work properly, you will need to already have a Navigraph account (http://navigraph.com). Navigraph offers flexible data subscription options, so choose whatever you feel you need. Once you have your account established, be sure to download the latest Navigraph FMS Data Manager. This will facilitate ease of importation and subsequent updating of your XP11 FMS data. Once you have the FMS Data Manager installed, log in to your account, via the prompt, within the FMS DM. You will be greeted with a message stating that "You do not have any add-ons mapped", and that will need to be populated with your paths to whatever add-ons you have, as well as the core XP11 data location. Click on the Addon Mappings button, now click on the +Add button. To the left of the window, there will be a dropdown menu, that has various add-ons in the list (this should be updated periodically, as new add-ons are made compatible with Navigraph). Click on the down arrow, and scroll to the very bottom of the list, where the entry "X-Plane 11" appears, and accept. Go to the dropdown menu next to this labeled "Install Into", and click on the down arrow and select "User Defined Folder". This is preferred method to ensure that the data will be installed to the folder you know needs populated with the latest data. Select the directory where the X-Plane 11 FMS Data is to be located: [X-Plane 11 install location]\Custom Data Click on the save button, once you have chosen the directory. In the upper right, click on the "Addon List" button, which will now display your recently added folder location. Tick the checkbox next to the entry and then click on the "Update" button above. This will now initiate the download of the latest AIRAC cycle data available from the Navigraph server to your directory. Once the data has been downloaded, you can now click on the down arrow next to the Navigraph AIRAC cycle (green label), which will now update and process the FMS data. At this time, your FMS data has been successfully added to X-Plane 11. You can now check to make sure this was successful by opening X-Plane, loading the default 737 Aircraft, and checking the FMC, you should not see the "Navdata Is Out Of Date" message. Click the LSK1 key, labeled STATUS, and you will now see the updated AIRAC Cycle displayed. This process can now be used for your other add-ons as well. Go back to the Addon Mappings button, select your product from the drop-down list, and again, select the appropriate folder, corresponding to the product that needs updated, save it, then go back to the Addon List, tick the checkbox for the new product mapped and then update. A more concise, albeit long-winded explanation of the Navdata for X-Plane 11, can be viewed in the following video, presented by Phillip Munzel: If the Moderators feel this is handy for the Tips & Tricks subforum, feel free to move it.
  18. Hi I use navigraph to update my airac info and it works fine on all aircraft and software other than the pmdg 777. Despite updating it, the airac in the fmc shows as being an out of date one. I'm using navigraph fms data manager, fsx se, and the pmdg. Any tips for a resolution? Thanks in advance.
  19. I made a short video to demonstrate the new navigraph extension pack for the Carenado Citation II, hope it's useful!
  20. Now, for a couple of months I have been playing around with FSX, PMDG 737 and Radar Contact. What an amazing world J I use SimBrief for flight planning, but I would like to raise the bar a bit and expect to buy PFPX. Q1: I would like to have updated navdata. I plan to get a subscription for Navigraph. On their web site I find updates for PFPX and PMDG, but FSX is not on the list. How is FSX getting updated? Q2: Does PFPX has any limitation (compared to FSbuild) concerning europe?
  21. Hi! I bought and installed your GTN 750 today. Before doing so I also noted that the included GPS data was from July 2016. Recent enough. But I also use Navigraph and I noticed there is a difference between the Garmin, showing me old and faulty frequencies for airport services, and Navigraph giving me the correct ones. If I understand it correctly it is possible to update the Garmin software for a small fortune, whereas services like Navigraph and Aerosofts Navdatapro are quite affordable. Is there a cheaper way to have the Garmin and Navigraph information synced without taking out a mortgage on my house or starting a new career as a drug kingpin? Or do I have to resort to using an old Navigraph cycle? And just to be clear, I am just a newbie flightsim enthusiast and not a PPL holder so even though I may think thousands of dollars a year for map updates are fine, my wife most certainly do not agree.
  22. This year, I went ahead and bought a subscription to Navigraph Charts. I find it to be a very useful product when planning flights. I have come across something I am unfamiliar with, and perhaps has gotten me in some sticky situations, more specifically with approaches. When determining a given arrival, I typically get a runway from PFPX, to which in turn, I complete my flightplan via the MCDU, where it asks for a runway and then a STAR. When conferring with the charts, I see that some airports have many different approaches for the same runway. For example, at LGAV, runway 03R, I have an option for ILS X/Z 03R ILS Y 03R, but I cannot tell the difference. Other airports seem to be cut and dry for approaches to their runways, but for the example above, I don't know which ILS to choose from. I am still able to complete the route and fly to the STAR, but every once in a while, on approach, I cannot get the APPR to engage, and I have to override the aircraft and fly in manually. I am still learning quite a bit now, but for these approaches, I am wondering if I am still missing something that I should understand or something I should already know to pick out the correct approach from the charts.
  23. Hi, simfriends with the annonces of realityXp and fligh1 of new versions of gns530 for p3dv4... i'm unable to make mine choice between. Mine configuration of data in v4 is done with navigraph integrate by fsaerodata. I hope using directly mine .pln done by flight planners compatible with navigraph... thanks for your minds... and helps. regards
  24. Hello guys, I have a problem updating AIRAC 2207 for Milviz 737. You can see the photo link below https://ibb.co/41nCdSs
  25. Hello all. First post here... Returning from nearly 30 years of absence from the sim community. subLogic Flight Simulator II for the Apple //e. Yikes! HELP... I downloaded the newest airac data from navigraph for PMDG (PMDG_1204), got it installed... The FMS shows the proper dates but the scratchpad is showing the nav data is not current. I saw a post where someone suggested the fmc_ident.txt file should be changed, but it appears as follows: [ident] NavData=AIRAC-1204 OpProgram=APR05MAY02/12 CoData=EAG-1204 Looks OK to me. Any ideas to make the pesky message disappear? I know it's cosmetic but it makes me wonder whether I have the update properly installed. Thanks. Jeff.
