I'm trying to get ReShade to work in v2.5, but it's causing some really annoying crashes. It seems that when the sim loads (that is, after I start a flight), ReShade is enabled. If I click on a menu right after it loads, it stops responding. The same thing happens if I open up ASN. However, if, after my flight finishes loading, I disable ReShade using the spacebar, I can open a menu, or ASN, or otherwise 'alter' the simulation with no problem. If I then enable reshade, I can mess around with the menus without causing a crash. However, if I enable ReShade, load the sim at a different airport, I cannot use the menus without causing a crash. It seems that ReShade must first be disabled before manipulating anything after the sim is done loading. I believe I installed it right. I downloaded ReShade then added P3D using the 'Mediator' application. Then, I deleted the only mention of ReShade in my P3D root folder (it was a small shortcut to a text file- no folders or anything else), then downloaded and installed VIRGINIA340s settings from post #44 here: http://www.avsim.com/topic/459027-reshade-shader-injector-sweetfx-20-and-p3d-v24/page-3. What am I doing wrong? I haven't every experienced these kinds of crashes in P3D so it must be related to ReShade. 

 

EDIT: After a little more testing I'm also getting crashes if I disable ReShade. Again, these crashes did not happen before so ReShade is causing the instability. 

Bump. This is quite annoying and I'd really like to get to the bottom of it. 

Hamoody. Have you tried the newest installer reshademe?

Run it, search for your P3D install exe and change it from DX9 to DX11. then tweak and adjust using the tabs for each shader you want to use.

Thank you, that solved the menu crash but I still get a crash if I start ASN while the sim is running. Before, I was able to start it whenever I wanted so it's definitely a ReSahde related problem. Any ideas?
