FSX Application Crash

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I have experienced some trouble with FSX becoming non responsive lately

and and after having a few fatal errors and crashes I did a complete

uninstall of FSX

I then did a disc clean up and defrag and reinstalled FSX

After all that I am still getting a error message that there is a problem and FSX

needs to close.

I went to the event viewer and here is a copy of what is listed as the last error.

If some one can analyze this information for me and suggest a solution

so that I can get back to what I really want to do, Flying on FSX instead of

looking for fixes and problem solutions I would appreciate the help.

All suggestions appreciated.

You are getting UIAutomationcore.dll errors, put the UIautomationcore.dll version 6.0.6001.18000 or UIAutomationCore.dll version 6.0.5840.16386 in your main FSX folder.

Nowhere else. FSX will find it there and use it, without affecting any other programs

Put this UIautomationcore.dll version 6.0.6001.18000 in your main FSX folder. Nowhere else.
The sim will look for the file there first and run it for FSX only.
Other programs that need the Version: 7.0.0.0 uiautomationcore.dll will still have the one in system files and not be affected
