Chris, you may also try the product support web page where you register, open a trouble ticket and get support direct from PMDG.Check out the article on fsx file dll.xml in their knowledge base. Your problem might be in this file. When do the crashes occur? What is your operating system?Rest assured that this is a problem in your system and not the application. Hopefully you can get it sorted out.

um, I believe that PMDG directs people to this website, and that's probably why he came here.I noticed his post was not brand new, either. Noone showed up to help him for quite a while, and when they did, they weren't with PMDG. Given that this forums has PMDG's full endorsement, they are responsible for the lack of help and poor treatment to newcomers here. While compensation cannot be often sought for ignoring or being rude to customers, threads like this are indicative and demonstrative of PMDG's attitude. I have recorded it in various ways as part of my data gathering about PMDG, who ruined 3 years of my work building FSX.And no, it's not asured that the problem is with his computer. People have more problems with the PMDG MD-11 than any product I've ever seen.

You are obviously new to these forums and prolly don't know that PMDG have never addressed this sort of issues here. They used to have a support email address that was replaced by the ticket system plus knowledge base in their website. It's was anounced here http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=277449, first thing to do when you sign up to a forum is to do a little research. You clearly failed to do that in the first place... here's another sticky you should've checked out BTW http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=245586

Really? Excuse me?What do I "prolly" not know again? You "prolly" don't know that this page is linked as a means of recieving official product support. You "prolly" don't know that the common word you're struggling with is 'PROBABLY'. You're obviously new to that word. The first thing you should do when using a new word is research. You clearly failed to do that. Maybe you should've read this webpage BTW: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/probablyWhat, you think he and I came here looking to talk to you? Product support would be the only reason I signed up here, and there's absolutely no reason for me to 'research' a forum I was directed to under an official guise. I could care less. He just wanted to ask a question. Regardless, you people suggest that people A)people should use the search function because that problem has been addressed here before, and B)These sort of problems aren't addressed here. Which is it?Perhaps this forum needs a different approach to support, one based on politeness and ACTUAL help, instead of the 'holier-than-thou' attitudes willfully displayed by it's standing members. I will continue to tell people to not only avoid this forum, but to avoid PMDG, if the flood of serious problems and wasted dollars here is to tell us anything.

Yes, really.Read the forum rules and adhere to them. If you don't like the rules, you may use the Support Portal to contact PMDG directly. Links to both have been provided to you on multiple occasions. Those are your options.

Hi all, Okay sorry for very late reply.I think I have found problem.....The crashes were happening about 45 sec after Takeoff. I basically didn't complete the Flight plan setup in the FMGC so that it was all connected together in a logical way. and had a early level off at 3000ft. I also think the NZAA and NZCH sids were not coded correctly(on early climb out the vertical side of FLT PLan page would start flashing.)Anyway, I modified the Sids for NZCH and NZAA and made sure all the waypoints connected in a logical way.... Have done a number of flights with NO crash!!!!This is a very smart and technical plane so everything has to been "holding hands" to work correctly I think :( Cheers Chris Durney
