Hi guys, I haven't had the chance to buy this lovely bird yet. I'm wondering if someone could tell me if you can undock the PFD, ND , EICAS , MCP , FMC etc on to multi Monitors. ( just like MD11 with undock able panel.cfg file) Yes I know there is no 2D cockpit. Chris
  2. Hi, Yes have read that thanks... Would be interested in any developments, thoughts etc. since then.
  3. Capt. rsrandazzo, I am a long time user of PMDG add-ons. The best in my books...I've watched over the years as computer hardware gets better and better BUT our beloved Flight Sim platforms cant fully use these advances in technology. Its a real pity FSX was never upgraded to take advantage of these advances. So as soon as X-Plane10 went 64BIT I decided to give it another go...well what I difference the 64BIT version made to my Flight Simulator experience. Finally my I7 CPU, 16G Memory, GTX680 in SLI could be put to work! I am sure X-Plane will grow to become the mainstream platform for flight simulation.....Will PMDG embrace this journey with the X-Plane community? Cheers Chris Durney
  4. Dude just focus on flying the real NG and by the time you finish work the NGX will be waiting for you!Chris.D

  6. Hi PMDG Team,Just wondering what FMC software is coded in 737NGX. I hope its FMC U10.8 so we can arm VNAV on Takeoff!!!REF: Boeing FCTM 3.33/3.34"With FMCU10.8 and later, VNAV is normally armed for takoff and engages at 400ft AGL. The use of VNAV for takeoff, flap retraction and climb out is the preferred method of managing the AFDS for takeoff. This provides the VNAV profile and acceleration schedule compatible with the planned departure. On airplanes with FMC U10.7 and earlier, at thrust reduction altitude, select or verify that climb thrust is set. At acceleration height, set flaps up maneuver speed and retract flaps on Flap retraction Schedule."Cheers Chris

  9. Hi All,Just wondering if you guys will be supporting a driver for CP Flight MCP-PRO/EFIS-PRO on the B737NGX?Cheers Chris
  10. Hi I have just installed the 800-900 addition and have noticed that the sliders dont work for 800-900 aircraft. They do for 600-700.Anyone have any solutions?Cheers Chris Durney
  11. Hi Guys and Gals,Here's the latest on my PMDG MD11 flight deck. Lots of work to do!!!You'll notice I am not using the correct DU lay out as in the actual MD11. Wanted to hopefully be able to use the new PMDG 737NGX in this setup. (If DU are undockable) Cheers Chris
  12. Hi guys,Does anyone know if the new PMDG 737NG will be provided with Undockable panels, like the MD11? Im a home cockpit builder so would be keen to get this product if it did :( Cheers Chris D
  13. Hi all, Okay sorry for very late reply.I think I have found problem.....The crashes were happening about 45 sec after Takeoff. I basically didn't complete the Flight plan setup in the FMGC so that it was all connected together in a logical way. and had a early level off at 3000ft. I also think the NZAA and NZCH sids were not coded correctly(on early climb out the vertical side of FLT PLan page would start flashing.)Anyway, I modified the Sids for NZCH and NZAA and made sure all the waypoints connected in a logical way.... Have done a number of flights with NO crash!!!!This is a very smart and technical plane so everything has to been "holding hands" to work correctly I think :( Cheers Chris Durney
