Rxp Install Instructions

Carenado provides a RealityXP Readme file, but it is missing the following critical information:

COMMUNICATION WITH G600
For optimal communication between the GNS430 and the G600, there needs to be an "RXPGNS.ini" file in the Seneca airplane folder.
Suggested content:

[GNS430]
Popup=10010
AutoPilotMode=2
Radios=1
LinkCdiKey=On
AutoApproach=Off
AutoCourse=On
LinkVor=1
LcdStyle=Off
AutoWidth=600
AutoHeight=252
Trainer=
LinkGPS=On

In the initial Seneca release, the G600 will not show the WAAS LPV glidepath.

I have sent some suggested changes to Carenado  (including turning off the annoying Alert messages)..

If you would like to try a copy, send me a PM with your email address.

Bert - I realize this is an old thread.  I was just wondering if this file is still needed, and/or needs to be changed when upgrading to RXP v2.

I am not sure that the V2 GNS has the LinkGPS function, but I could be wrong..

Try this, in the ini file:

; updates Simulator GPS flight plan if true.
LinkSimGps = true
