August 15, 200223 yr hey guys!well, i am currently trying to download the 777, however i just cannot get it to go past the 44% mark of the download. now i have tried 6 times so far, all with no success. each time that it hits 44% it gives me a window that says my connection with server has been reset. any ideas? if you have some please help me out here as i really cannot wait to get into the cockpit of this thing!!! i am using a dial-up (i know i know....slow, but oh well) and get about 4.79 Kb/s transfer rate. have tried to download it wil both an accelerator (the one recomended on their web page) and with out one. i have e-mailed PMDG, but i havent got a response yet, so i thought that someone might be able to help me out here. i also tried to send them a message from thier web page, but it seems that it too did not go through, just gave me an error message. if anyone has any ideas, please help me out!!! thanks a ton!!!!anthony miller
August 16, 200223 yr dont know what i did, but now all i get when i click on the e-mail page is this:You have made an invalid request. If you believe this to be an error please contact us as [email protected] tried using getright....didnt work. so now i am really getting upset.....i hope i didnt just throw away $20!? if anyone would please shine some light on this.....please do. thanksanthony miller
August 16, 200223 yr Anthony,I suggest you send an e-mail to [email protected], PMDG will respond.Is getright a download manager? I remember reading something on PMDG's site that some (someone correct me if I mis-state this) download managers cause a problem. Anyway, I suggest you search the PMDG site.Regards,Bob L
August 16, 200223 yr thanks bob for the info. i have e-mailed PDMG staff several times, however i keep getting a return letter stating that the letter could not be delivered. so i tried going onto their site to send the message directly from there, but again the site does not work. is it just down for a while? or do i really have that much bad luck right now:( oh well, guess that i will just have to wait a day til i can start fly!ing the 777:( thanks again!!!anthony
August 16, 200223 yr Commercial Member Anthony-I have located and reset your order- you should have received an email about 30 seconds ago. ;-)Apparently I stuffed up our support mailbox when I added an "auto-response" mechanism to it. The auto-response appeared to work just fine- but it also deleted the inbound email.... Not good....Robert S.
