April 3, 200323 yr Hi PMDG,I've been looking over your recent pictures of the external visual model, and for some reason I feel that the cockpit window framing just doesn't look right. I understand that these pictures are not of the final product, but I'm not sure if it will be changed or not. In my opinion the texture used for the framing is way too dark and it sort of blends into the windows, which makes it look odd. Perhaps it's just me, so everyone correct me if I'm wrong, but I just feel that the framing should be thicker (in size) and lighter (in texture).(I was comparing your visuals with real photographs taken at the same angle, which brought me to this conclusion)I really am looking forward to this product, especially the 800 version. Keep up the great work!Norbert Tretner
April 3, 200323 yr Commercial Member Norbert,All of PMDG Aircraft are built and designed from the Boeing Drawings so they are normally quite accurate. I have noticed that when you zoom in close to the aircraft in MSFS that it sometimes has a tendency to play with the look of things a bit. Looks good to me but as always this is IMHO :-)RegardsPaul:-cool Paul Gollnick Manager Customer/Technical Support Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
April 13, 200323 yr No I don't think so a bit. It looks pretty good to me. In fact I will tell you that their models look fantastic. Just look at the detail on this one and tell me what 737 compares to it's quality??Best Wishes, Randy J. April 13, 200323 yr Of course there is a chance that I could be wrong about the dimensions of the framing, but I believe the center/middle bar of the frame is too thin/narrow. I don't mean to be picky, but I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this as well.Norbert
