April 24, 200323 yr Gentlemen:Can't wait for the 737 TNG to grace our fair skys..... has there been any discussion with the folks at Aerosoft regarding a driver which would allow for the use of their wonderful MCP panel and upcoming EFIS panel to be used with your upcoming product??Phil
April 24, 200323 yr "The answer is "most likely, yes". I've been in discussions with Andrew McLean for the production of an MCP747 extension DLL that will come to you (most likely at no charge, but it is slightly possible that it will be an extra cost, albeit very small).Watch this space for more news in the coming days...Lefteris KalamarasPrecision Manuals Development Group" [h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. April 28, 200323 yr Awesome!! I also understand that there may be a DLL available similar to FSUPIC which would allow keyboard assignment of various switches and knobs. That would be HUGE for cockpit builders like myself who are building 737-NG cockpits. Thanks,Phil
April 28, 200323 yr Sorry for my missunderstanding, but I have never heard of this ?What does it do? this MCP?ThanksSean McCormack(OzFast Hosting Australia)
April 28, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Sean,The MCP I believe they are refereing to is this http://www.mcp747.com/ It is a near perfect replica of the Boeing MCP installed on everything from the 737 to the 747-400. If you happen to have an extra couple hundred lying around not being spent on a PMDG product, I highly recomend one. Lord knows I would love to have one of these at home.
