June 24, 200322 yr I've noticed with other payware (i.e. Captain Sim, Ariane) that the plane "reaches" to one side while flying. For example, I line myself up with the runway, and it slowly pushes itself right. My question is, will the PMDG have this 'yawwing' effect and if so, how do I completely disable it? I know about the yaw damper, but this doesnt *completely* remove it.
June 24, 200322 yr I could be wrong. But it sounds like what you were seeing was the effect of wind. I have only herd of props yawing to one side. Never herd of a Medium sized airliner doing this. BTW...Like your banner!Cheers,Ryan
June 24, 200322 yr I think FSUPIC has an option called TAXI Wind Control to stop this, well it stoped it for me anyways.Hope This HelpsJason
June 24, 200322 yr Commercial Member Zach-In addition to the other answers you've gotten- is the problem you are experiencing related to the panel perspective? I've found that I have a tendency to line the outside world up on the ADI (cuz that's how you do it in the real world) and this causes me to taxi like a 4 year old because so many MSFS panels are off centered in order to cram as much into them as possible. You can see this if you look at our primary main panel image- and this is why we and many others include approach and landing views...Something to think about. In answer to your question tho- no..I am not sure I understand what you mean- but that sounds like a sim-ism....RSR Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
June 24, 200322 yr Yeay, no yawwing side to side. Now I am really excited to get this bird! 737-6 & 737-7!!!
June 26, 200322 yr Zachary,I found that unchecking the first option on the Realism setup page eliminates the tendency for the aircraft to drift off line. I'm not sitting in front of the game right now and I cannot remember the name of that check box.Pete http://www.precision...GX_Dev_Team.jpg PMDG Graphic Designer
