July 1, 200322 yr Don't developers ever learn. Here we have another classic example. Didn't we all go through this hoop when a different developer released a 727, a while back. I too cannot download this product even though my money has already gone (I checked with VISA)....saying its "server overload" doesn't cut it I'm affraid. Quite simple IT'S NOT MY PROBLEM. We all paid and received our links...now it's up to Precision Manuals Development Group (ironic name when you think about it) to ensure we get what we have paid for.To all those reading these forum, that are considering buying this product the simple message is don't. At least not until Precision Manuals Development Group can provide a fully operational download service...."customer service" my arse!!!!
July 1, 200322 yr Thanks for the advice, but I have just done so:(I only read the first post! Now that sure is sad!!!I know PMDG is working their butts off, but still it's 10 min's past eleven PM here in Central Europe...If you read my earlier post on why I don't think this system is good for us costumers, must know how I feel right now!!!I am a bit dissapointed, I may be frank...Your copyrights, my pain????I have paid 39,99 for a downloadable product, that I don't own, never will and can't even download, man that's frustratin:OWhat I would also like to stress out is the absence of any moderator from this topic! There has been many comments here on what some are witnessing, and well no answers! There was a guy that was told to mail one of the PMDG guys, but I have the same thing in my mail, so why not post what to do, if this should happen to others???This is really worrying! Especially after you have written, that if you forget to sign in for a code, your money are gone, and you see the right to refuse costumers, well that is not all that comforting...I know I am just a bit concerned, but I think you would feel the same way if you were in my shoes right now :(Hope to hear from you!Boaz...
July 1, 200322 yr Hey, calm down!I'm angry too, but i still think that the thing just happening now was not in consideration of the guys behind PMDG. All i wanted to state with my last post was that COMMUNICATION is a key in customer relation. Even if it simply says the throught:"We don't know the hack what's going on, but we're working on it" - like Mike Cross said in his last post - keep us updated, it doesn't take much time to write a few words - and - it avoids a lot of frustration and anger for us, your fellow customers. Cheers, Michael Endruhn.
