July 2, 200322 yr Plan: LPMA LPPTRoute: SNT UN745 NARTA DCT GANSUFlight Level: F360Aircraft: 737/MPredicted spent fuel by FSBUILD2 taking in to account aloft:4190 KgFsacars measured spent fuel:2684 KgAfter some time I got fuel imbalance. At this time it is confuse if the cause is already detected or not. But it seems that the problem is that in the left tank the fuel stops to descend after a while.ThnksJos
July 2, 200322 yr Well, actually, I'd rather have that fuel imbalance thing.. It kinda makes thing a bit realistic.. IRL the 2 engines burns fuel at different rates, so fuel imbalance is an everyday event in a real 737 pilot's day.. 2 engines burning exact same ammount of fuel, and never cause fuel imbalance is UNREALISTIC, and have bugged FS all the time.. Finally, we have an aircraft where fuelimbalance occour. Great work I might say! :D
July 2, 200322 yr Author DrewThe predicted fuel with FSbuild was taking in to account aloft. Don't know if that is accurated since don't have experience with FSBuild 2.Another thing is that FSAcars could be having problems rading the fuel with the 737 (didn't make any flight with 736) but I doubt since I'm reading all the Tanks.LarsBoth engines were having the same fuel flow.Jos
July 2, 200322 yr hehe, this is the FIRST FS-Plane where i have to look at the Fuelgauges and use the Fuel X-fer switch. I can confirm that this feels more realistic for non realworldpilots. Please don't change that thing :-hahread you...Michael
July 2, 200322 yr Actually, it is not the first aircraft. The PIC767 also has fuel imbalances.RegardsRussell Jourdain (NZL007/ZK-RHJ)
