July 3, 200322 yr On the POS INIT 1/3 page, how do I enter the IRS position? If I put KJFK in as REF AIRPORT, I get a bogus lat/lon of N40
July 3, 200322 yr I fail to see an answer to my question in the forum's Easy Start FAQ thread or any other threads for that matter. However, there are so many recent ones it is bit hard to search through.Do you have a pointer (URL) for me? Thanks.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
July 3, 200322 yr OK. It seems it will not accept an entry that is too far from the current position according to FS2002 (shift Z). It will accept N40 37.6 W073 46.3when I am sitting on KJFK 31L. I hadn't noticed that my LAST POS was from elsewhere (KBED?).There is still the issue that all the K airports I try result in a lattitude such as E00x 0.0.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
July 3, 200322 yr Hi Lee, not sure if this helps you or not, but have you tried downloading the latest NAVDATA? I think I had the same experience that you describe (strange coordinates that couldn /Tord Hoppe, Sweden
July 3, 200322 yr Hi there. This is what I do. On POS INIT page I click LSK 1L which is a cheat that will update the LAST POS to your current position. I then click LSK 1R and that puts that position into the scratchpad. Then click LSK 4R and that puts your current position into the IRS. Click, click, click and your done.LaterTerry
July 3, 200322 yr I'd rather not download the latest navdata if it will affect 767PIC. I'm quite happy with the navdata I am using with PIC. Is it not possible to have different navdata for PIC and PMDG?Lee Hetherington (KBED)
July 8, 200322 yr Well,It does not accept that kind of format. This is the same format that Randy suggested to me a while ago. Will have to try the one with the spaces inbetween tonight.I don't like to use those magical cheats. They don't exist in the real aircraft, therefore it does not exist to me.Tero PPL(A)
