New problem? PMDGOptions.dll

Featured Replies

Don't know if anybody else, have this problem...Yesterday I made a flight from KLAX to KSFO with my FULLY REGISTERED 737NG, with the usuals 'bugs' but OK for a quick 1 hour flight...Now today I want to launch FS2002 Pro and I can't ????The screen comes blank and nothing happends...if I open the Task Manager I see that FS2002 is idle??? without any CPU cycle???I tried to remove the FS2002.CFG file to generate a new one... nothing happends...FS2002 comes to normal and launch OK, ONLY if I remove the PMDGOptions.DLL of the Modules Folder...I can't launch FS2002 with the PMDGOptions.DLL so I can't generate a deregistration number if I want to install FS2002 again or change some hardware of the PC...Now I can't use the 737NG, anyone know how to FIX THIS???

Charly Diaz Azcue[br /] BAW062 [br /] HC270CH Q8
[/p][/p]
After some test and reboots now I can load FS2002 with the PMDGOptions.dll, but the sign "Mag Var Init" appears everytime I load the 737NG and it only appears with the 737NG, I didn't touch anything in FS2002, don't know whats happends here...there is a fix for this? or I have to reinstall the 737NG?http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/23010.jpg

Charly Diaz Azcue[br /] BAW062 [br /] HC270CH Q8
[/p][/p]
hi,Oh man, I had the same exact problem, I ended up reinstalling fs and the pmdg 737 then having to ask for a new licence key. Before you do that you should wait and see what pmdg says. :-)Andrew

This .dll file in the Modules folder creates problems. It has also generated a conflict with PIC767 and Aerosoft MCP 747 users which prevents them from working together properly.PMDG has been made aware of it....regards,

If think I found another problem:I had been testing the PMDG 737 NG for some time and therefore used no other addon aircraft since I installed the 737 NG.Yesterday I wanted to do some flights with the DF734, but FS2K2 crashed a few seconds after I had been connected to the IVAO-Server (Remark: I am always flying Online).Same happened then also with the PSS 744: Connected to IVAO-Server and immediate crash.I had no problems with these aircrafts prior to the installation of the PMDG 737NG and did no other modifications to my system in between.Nevertheless the PMDG 737NG still works fine online.I use SB 2.3 and DirectX 9.0.

This one was not the PMDDOptions.dll.The problem lay within the FS2002.cfg.I deleted it and then I was able to go Online again with the DF734 and PSS 744.Had some work restoring my settings, but was to lazy to figure out what exactly caused the problem.I wonder what changes the PMDG 737NG installation does to the fs2002.cfg.

Or possibly the NG crashing FS2002 at a bad time causing fs2002.cfg corruption?Lee Hetherington (KBED)

Negative,no crash at all!I wonder if I could get some feedback from the PMDG guys here whether the installation fidles with FS2002.cfg or not.
