June 22, 200223 yr I am a big 737 fan, what does everyone suggest, as far as add-ons (panels, aircraft, etc.) to make flying the 737 better. I am looking for freeware. Thanks!
June 22, 200223 yr Sorry it's not freeware but DF737 :-)http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/737.htmlawfEHAM André

June 23, 200223 yr So, if I have the choice between this package or the PIC 767 package, which would you advise? I would like to a have as "realistic experience as possible and of the two packages, the PIC seems to have a bit more fidelity although the DF 737 "looks better" which also makes it seem more "real". Everyone make a big deal about Gmax models and I was hoping to wait for one of these packages to hit the market -- supposed to be easier on framerates and look better. Is it worth waiting for this? Any comments appreciated. I think there are the Airbus 320 packages being released but the cockpit looks a bit "too modern" for my taste. The 727 that's coming from Alpha sim, ulations looks promising. Any ideas or suggestions welcome...
June 23, 200223 yr John, does the glideslope function well with your DF737?I have the DF737,but gave it up and changed to the PSSA320 just because when intercepti,g the glideslope it just made one big nosediveregards,Seba
June 23, 200223 yr Well they are both good, but in my opinion if your looking for the most realistic experience pic 767 is the one to have. Why not buy both their well worth it.
June 23, 200223 yr Hi!Well .... they are both very good, but if you must pic one then pic PIC. I use a POSKY plane with the PIC panel and frame rates are better than the DF product. The PIC comes with malfunctions and a more complete systems package. Remember..... one of the principal contributors to the project is type rated on the aircraft. That DOES make a difference. You want realism... then how about a engine loss on takeoff!!! You can get a good idea of the fidelity of a sim by rummaging through the forum for that product. Check out the technical threads in the PSS, DF and PIC forums and draw your own conclusions. Have fun!BobP :) Bob Prince
