July 13, 200322 yr hi,I am downloading service pack 4 for windows 2000 pro and am wondering if doing that would invalidate my licence. Would that be considered and OS change by the software and invalidate my licence key or what? I hope not since it's just an update, or a patch.Andrew
July 13, 200322 yr I don't think it will, but don't take my word for it. I have put some of the XP Patches on my system, and AFAIK it didn't invalidate my lisence.
July 13, 200322 yr Author hi,Just upgraded to service pack 4 and my licence still works, thanks :-)Andrew
July 13, 200322 yr I know a LOT of people who are having quite a few issues with SP4.I would HIGHLY recommend against installing it in its current state. Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3

July 13, 200322 yr >I know a LOT of people who are having quite a few issues with>SP4.>>I would HIGHLY recommend against installing it in its current>state. That was said of SP3 too.....perhaps the problem isn't the service packs but M$ itself ;-) hehehehe
July 13, 200322 yr There was quite a difference between the SP3 and the SP4 release. Although the SP3 release had a few bugs here and there (all releases do), after the SP4 release the Technical Support Forum lit up like a Roman Church with all the problems people have been having.I'll pass :( Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
July 14, 200322 yr Author hi,Ive been using SP4 for a couple of hours now, did a test flight in fs2004 with the 737 and everythings good so far, a smooth 25 fps for the entire flight. Tried almost all my programs and all is good :-) Seems like the problems vary from machine to machine. I have no problems right now. :-)Andrew
