RUDDER! HELP

Featured Replies

Hi, Having a problem. Now, I don

OK, something even more strange. The ones with rudder completely to the left i will say YES, and the ones with rudder centered I will say NO which means no problems at all.736: Air Europa - NOScandinavian - NOLauda Air - NO737:Transavia - NOAir Berlin - YESBraathens TUA - YES (from avsim)Braathens TUF - YES (from avsim)Maersk - YESHamburg Intl - YESEasy Jet - YES 737w:Copa - NOI tried all those aircrafts and that

I can confirm the same experience with the Alaska -700. Rudder deflected to left, does not move at all, but does not effect control.Joe LorencPhiladelphia/Charlotte Hub Manager, Carolina Operations, VN7 Networkhttp://www.vn7network.com/

Hey Guys: Just wondering. Did you apply the patch over your current installation or did you uninstall and reinstall and then patch? Keith Whyte

Patch without uninstallling 737 NG Coimbra

Rudder is left on the default PMDG-700 too.

I'm in FS9 right now and that is a new install. I kept my FS2k2 install, and updated that also, but I did not copy or move any files between the two.Joe LorencPhiladelphia/Charlotte Hub Manager, Carolina Operations, VN7 Networkhttp://www.vn7network.com/

More info: Well, my installation was fine, no deflected rudder on any, except it showed a deflected rudder in the select aircraft window view. Installing the Alaska livery introduced deflected rudders. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and updated, and the deflected rudder is gone. Something about the liveries, maybe because they were designed without a moving rudder? Keith Whyte

I already had the 737 installed in FS2002, then did a fresh install into FS9, then updated with the patch... then installed the Alaska livery... all of the PMDG liveries in all models work fine.. the Alaska livery controls just fine, just the rudder is deflected to the left, though the plane handles just fine.. only a visual anomoly...I would like to consider a reinstall... but am fearful of the registration issue again..Am looking for any suggestions, am using Win2K, 1.4gHz P4, 512mbRAM, 64mb vid card.. have both FS2002 and FS9 COF installedRegards,Ted Panamarioff - Kodiak, Alaska

Hi,Same problem here. :-(Did a fresh install in FS9. First the normal base install, and then the update. If I change to any another plane, the problem is gone. But as soon as I change to a PFDG plane, the rudder is tilted stiff to the left. :-hmmmTo me this looks like a model issue.Fly safe,http://www.scandicair.com/images/SA_Banner4b.jpg

Guy's,this has been fixed in the latest patch (see pinned topic dated 03.03), I have just tried all varients in FS2002 and the rudder works fine, it does show in the preview window with the rudder hard over though.I haven't tested in FS04 yet, as I don't have it ;)Regards,Bob JonesPrecision Manuals Development Groupwww.precisionmanuals.com

Hi Bob,Well,...what can I say exept that it is not fixed with the update, in FS9 anyway.I have the update installed as it should in FS9,...and still with the tilted rudder. :-(http://www.scandicair.com/images/SA_Banner4b.jpg
