I think it is true Bob. At least that's always been my understanding. I didn't have a problem with it in the beginning. But in light of recent events......Doug

>Oks,> I kinda understand the confusion-Hopefully I can clarify it>for ya ;)>>The base package(600/700 A.K.A Phase 1) must be purchased.>>Phase 2(800/900) are essentially addons for the 600/700...>basically you MUST purchase the 600/700...>Funny that nobody from PMDG is giving an awnser to the questions. I have asked before and my post never got awnsered either.Lets hope they put out some info even if they tell us that they are still not sure on the policy.Mike HorstenPolarairways.comThe Gateway VA to the NorthBased At EHAM (Amsterdam Schiphol)

I have seen this question asked quite a few times. This is what PMDG's website has to say regarding the future add-ons."BOEING 737:The Next Generation is planned as a three-phase product. PHASE I is based upon the 737-600/700 aircraft types with the associated 600/700 cockpit layout. This product will be the first released and will serve as the base product for Phase II and Phase III development. (Users must own Phase I in order to purchase Phase II and Phase II aircraft listed below.) This Phase includes the fully functioning airplane cockpit and systems listed here. PHASE II will include the 737-800/900 aircraft types with the associated cockpit differences for these types. Users will then have two different cockpit types, while also adding the ability to manually select between the PFD/ND/EICAS display option, or the EFIS Standard Layout option. (Either mode will be usable on the aircraft depending on user selection.) BOEING 737:The Next Generation PHASE II will also add technology not currently ready for deployment such as TCASII, IRS Navigation, Upper Overhead Panel and associated systems, PHASE III will be based on the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) and some currently offered military variants to the Boeing 737NG product line. This release will include additional technology that will also be compatible with previous phases, including user selectable Heads Up Display and Center Body Tank Auxiliary Fuel."http://www.precisionmanuals.com/PRODUCTS/a...ase_summary.htmCarl Moore
