August 7, 200322 yr Hi,First, sorry for my english, it's not perfect, lol.I have the real cursus for the Boeing 737-800, and I noted some difference with the AP of this aircraft. From PMDG 737 :1. HDG SEL illuminate when I'm pushing the TO/GA pushbutton.2. N1 illuminate automatically, but the page to set the climb altitude have dissapear (or I didn't find this page)From the real cursus (737-800) :1. HDG SEL must be selected after T/O.2. N1 must be selected by the pilote.Maybe this remarks are not a problem, but just the reality ! Can you answer me about this ?Some other troubles :- CWS pushbuttons don't illuminate, it's always the CMD pushbuttons.- Double channel does'nt function, the FMC don't recognize the ILS frequency (108.9 - EBBR 25R), but the LOC and G/S are displayed correctly. Maybe it's my mistake.- The frame rate in the cockpit is less than before the patch. Frame rate on external view is perfect. But, congratulation for this aircraft, it's a great work.Thank you for your work and the new liveries.Have a nice flight.
August 7, 200322 yr About the HDG SEL and TOGA mode, I believe(and yes, I could be wrong) this is a customer option to have HDG SEL mode come on when TOGA is selected.
I think I have to correct you on this one (even if you re not sure). The CWS is actually modelled and it is darn good too! Try to push the CWS button well in flight and you'll get the CWS cue on the FMA. Then it's just to Steer away! Though the original poster is right, the CWS push button is not illuminated.Regards, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|

August 9, 200322 yr Hi,After several test, I had note this :- The automatic landing in dual channel is active ONLY if you set the TWO radio on the ILS frequency. This procedure seems logic, but I would like if it's the reality. I hope a real pilot of this aircraft read the forum, thanks to him.- The HDG SEL become active when the TO/GA is engaged, and remain active in climb.- The N1 engaged around 1500 ft RA, but you can engage it before. Reality or not, the problem is I can't find the page to set the altitude !See you. Bye.
August 9, 200322 yr I could not get the double channel to work either. Then I tuned both NAV radios to the desired ILS frequency. Both autopilots engaged. Try it, it might work for you.
August 9, 200322 yr Hi there,>Double channel does'nt function, the FMC don't recognize the ILS frequency (108.9 - EBBR 25R), but the LOC and G/S are displayed correctly. Maybe it's my mistake.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg

I hope a real>pilot of this aircraft read the forum, thanks to him. That is the correct way to do it.Reaso: you split both sides of the aircraft, the electrical systems stop feeding each other, the autopilots only use own side nav and fmgc data, this is all to eliminate even the smallest error during landing.DennisLicensed on the B737NG and the Airbus 319-321 as a technician (B1 and B2)
