One of the two 737-7L9 Sterling are leasing from Maersk (They sure do lease out a few..). Originally it was operated by Alpi Eagle. Hi John, great looking livery. Did you ever think about creating an Air New Zealand one for us down this end of the world. I know that you have done some Air NZ liveries in the past and I know this bird will never be operational with the imminent arrival of the Airbus, but it would still be nice to fly the PMDG737 in our native colors.

Hey Mike,See what I can do for you mate ;)I hear the NG was in the bag most of the way, that is until Airbus made ANZ an offer they sadly (depending on how you look at it) couldn't refuse.

Well they had been a Boeing shop for so long it came as a surprise. But as you say, an offer they couldn't refuse. Not sure what they plan to do on the Asia run. The Airbus just does not have the legs and I thought they were replacing the B767 as well as the B737. The B747 are ready for the scrap heap also. Thanks for thinking about it anyway.

I read that Air New Zealand is searching for a replacement for the 747s, one would think with the A320 joining them the A345 would make a suitable replacement. It'd make sense since it'd be easier to train the pilots, engineers etc.

Oops - well that's alright John. I won't hold that against you ;)I must say that I've enjoyed your work on previous models and look forward to the QF PMDG repaint. I would love to know how to do it myself, but I think it'll take up too much of my flying time:)thanks John.
