Many errors. Doesn't it behave better or is it me?

Hi all!Just bought PMDG737NG. After some installation on my P4 2.0 Ghz win2000 with fs2004 it was time for a first flight. I ran into trouble right away. Here is what i experienced:Manual takeoff ok, normal behaviour. At 3000 feet, I engaged autopilot with mcp speed set to 250knots, MCP alt set to FL230 and engaged V/S mode: Result surprised me, Pitch up to 35 degrees, power down to 30% N1, stall and crash....Hmm, tried a FMC controlled takeoff, Entered data, gor a V1,VR and V2. N1 limit set ok. Spool up to 60% and engaged TO/GA. Engine thrust to FMC limit, but just before V1, A/T drops power to 30%.... Why?Have tried many things but the results are the same, if I engage the autopilot, no matter which mode, the nose comes up ant continues to climb, whatever MCP alt or CRZ alt is set...if I am at 10000f, set the MCP alt to 3000 feet and engage the Autopilot with negative V/S, the plane starts climbing! One more thing... After som trial and error with above, I still wanted to take a nice flight... Set up for a short hop from Londown Gatwick to Heathrow (Airac cycle 0309 loaded). Set up the from and to in FMC and noticed that the WPTS on the ND didnt start at the plane location.... strange... Did a manual start and climbed and turned towards the Destination as the ND showed. Did an approach manually, just guessing from the distance shown on the ND, because i cant change the radios, Mhz are movable, but Khz wont move. When I approache the runway i didnt see it on the ground... No airport at all!. Turn SLEW mode on and looked around a bit. There is was, 10 miles south of me!!! Nav data and FS data doesnt match. If it was a free download i would have thown it in the bin by now. But if it costs this much, it must be worth finding some answers. What am I doing wrong?I really need help on this. I have never been so dissappointed with a FS addon before./ Olle

Hi Olle.Since thngs work fine for me I can

Well, I'm afraid it's you... :D I have installed the PMDG without problems and have never seen behaviour like you describe. I can only suggest 'the regular things', in random order:- de-install using the remove tool. re-install the complete base package followed by the full SU1-1 package. make sure to NOT install any FS2002 part.- use the PMDG loadmanager and set/note the pax/cargo weight- check/set the amount of fuel in FS2004. default settings (full load/fuel) result in overweight!- fill in the correct weight figures in the FMC- make sure FS2004 is in US settings mode- like Tord said: use point for decimals in your windows regional setting- Fly! :-bigangel I really hope you get things straightened out. This plane is good and is getting better and better!Henk-Jan

Also, make sure you have the trim way forward, at the start of the green band. I haven't had the problem you described but I learnt early to not trim for the middle! The A/P causes the aircraft to bob up and down a lot if the trim is only a little of. :-)Steven.
