October 10, 200322 yr Hello,I made a flightplan from LFMN to LFPG with FSBuild 2.1 and exported it to the PMDG-folder. In FS, when I try to use it in the FMC, a strange thing happens: I give in the departure and destination, after that the runway, 4L. OK. Now I import the flightplan via co-route and what happens?: the runway disappears and I'm not able to finish the flightplan. Other flights, made by the same procedere, works very well. Is here something wrong with the database? By the way, if I use the PSS A 330 and import the plan, there are no problems. Please help me to solve this problem.greetings Kai
October 11, 200322 yr Hello,I experienced the same problem in the same configuration ( FSBuild etc. ) on numerous flights. But the real problem is in my opinion, that when I try to select dep or arr runways again 'manually' ( not through the generated coroute but the ordinary dep/arr button ) the fmc responds with 'program error's. I'm already in contact with Ernie Alston but maybe this is more a PMDG problem than a FSBuild one ? ( By the way: the current navdata.at airac cycle is used in both programs )
October 11, 200322 yr Hi guys, I use fsbuild and have been practicng the circle to land approach at LFMN with no navdata problems at all - weird huh? Have you tried using fsnavigator to do the initial plan and then export it to fs2004 and use fsbuild to convert it? Bit of a long way round I know but it might work. I will wait and see what ernie says with interest, cheersanthony
October 11, 200322 yr Hi,I want to start in LFMN, not land. My steps are like following: I make a plan LFMN-LFPG in FSBuild (the way via FSNAV I tried already; there is no difference in result). Then I export the plan to PMDG-flightplans. In FS I open the FMC, fill in LFMN and LFPG. THEN I open dep/arr and choose rwy 4L. After that I make the entry LFMN-LFPG via co-route and then voila: the 4L row is empty! When I now try to put in the 4L via dep/arr then I get the message: format error. Only in LFMN I found this problem until now. I believe it too, that this is not a problem of FSBuild but of PMDG. With a PSS A 330 everythings works absolutely fine.regards Kai
October 12, 200322 yr Hello, this problem exists on other airports as well. Example ?Here we go:created a flightplan in FSBuild starting at EKCH Runway 4 L destination EFHK.In the fmc entering EKCH as initial position and then EKCHEFHK into the coroute field to load the FSBuild generated route.Once again the result is: plan is loaded but no dep runway selected. Clicking the fmc button DEPARR and then the LSK for dep results in 'program error'. It's not possible in any way to select a departure rwy now. And EKCH is quite a big and frequented airport.Maybe it's time for a statement from PMDG's side on this topic ?
October 13, 200322 yr Patrick,Are you sure that you have a set of SIDs for EKCH in your SID/STAR folder? If not go to http://www.pmdg.operations.dk/index.php - they've got a fine selection available. October 13, 200322 yr I'll look into that very soon. If there's a bug it will be corrected for SU2.anthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com
October 13, 200322 yr >I'll look into that very soon. If there's a bug it will be >corrected for SU2.Anthony, you can take this one off your list. It's a problem on the Fsbuild2 side.Regards.Ernie.

October 14, 200322 yr >Hi,>the errors are with FSBuild? Why do it works with PSS-planes?The export to PMDG and PSS are different and independent modules in Fsbuild. A bug or problem that affects the PMDG export will not affect the PSS or any other exports, and visa versa.Regards.Ernie.
