October 12, 200322 yr Hi JohnYes, I really hope we will be able to use PIC version 2 with POSKY's fantastic looking 757 :D If only the PIC development team could include a 757 airfile and panel config, that would be absolutely brilliant :9I cant wait for PIC version 2 :DRegards,Lee Holland(BAW446 - Captain - British Airways Virtual)

October 12, 200322 yr Perhaps right now is a good time for the boys at POSKY and Wades PIC team to start working together. If I remember right the model textures for PIC V1 really sucked the frame rates out of the enjoyment of such a wonderful product.RegardsRandy
October 12, 200322 yr Randy, that'd never happen :)Maybe PIC will provide 757 specific mods to the FMC and allow user edits of the panel. If not, the 767 &757 are pretty similar, so I'm sure people will manage :) Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
October 13, 200322 yr John,Its nice to know that there are talented people out there like Lee Heatherington....his PIC/POSKY merge provided me many hours of enjoyment with both products.I hope Lee will consider doing the same for the V2 panel and POSKY that is....if hes not spending alot of timeup flying the real thing....:)Randy
October 16, 200322 yr Rumor (and I stress rumor)...(edit: VERY much less than rumor and now pure unadulterated speculation... I researched back to where I thought I read about this, and found nothing mentioned about it)...has it that the PIC team is working on a way to directly incorporate 757 data into the FMC and other spots, thus making the panel a true dual-use system - preconfigured for either 767 or 757 operation. Wouldn't THAT be something nice!(edit: There is a good number of requests of the PIC team to include 757 functionality, but no word from the developers as to their intentions)-Greg
October 16, 200322 yr PIC version 2 will not contain any 757 data that I am aware of and it will be only using the original exterior and panels. Wade has said nothing is set in stone so who knows. I think there are enough people who would be very interested in a PMDG style 757. I know I would. PMDG know all about the 757 with their Fly edtions and one for FS9 would be awesome ;) IMO.... October 16, 200322 yr I must break in here and say that I agree here. I use the PIC 767 panel with the IFDG 757 and it is quite suffecient HOWEVER, a stand alone pure 757 would be very nice. But, yes, I can make it just fine. Valuable resources and time could be spent on more advantageous projects...whatever they may be. Now that a couple development companies have done the Airbus 330,340 as well as PMDG doing a fine job on the 737 what is left? A redo of the 747 and 777 is highly needed by PSS or somebody willing to go from scratch; there is no doubt about this!Wilson HinesUAL006|UPS1008|CX776--------------------------------------Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727---------------------------------------ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2|ACLoader---------------------------------------Athlon XP 2600+|Thermaltake Volcano 7+|Gigabyte GA-7VXP (rev1.1)|Geil PC3200 512MB|GeFarce Ti4600|Antec 1060 SOHO|WD 120 GB 8MB round cables|Lite-On 48X CDRW|Razer Boomslang|19" NEC FE950 & 19" Sony Trinitron| Saitek X45 throttle and stick|HP Scanner and DeskJet 890C|MS Win XP SP1|http://heavylhc.com/images/av/anna.jpg
