October 20, 200322 yr Let me start by expressing my gartitude for the excellent product this 737 is! I haven't had such a ggod time with MSFS since PSS's A320 was released!!!I am making some progress in understanding how to live with the few inconsisytencies/limitations in the FMC and FCS logic. Regarding VNAV I would like to report something that, by tis time, should certainly have been reported by others, but I couldn't find in this message board:- When at, say, cruise, flying under VNAV, arriving to the T/D retards throttles to flight iddle and starts a descent to the new MCP alt. This is perfect, but, if for some reason I press VNAV latter during the descent, or after leveling at the newly assigned FL, the airplane allways stars a "mad" climb towards who knows what alt????Will this get fixed in SU2?Jose Carlos Monteiro - Portugal
October 20, 200322 yr Can you expect SU2 to fix your problem with VNAV?? Yes you can! It's simply beautiful in this regard, MANY MNAY changes here, exciting to say the least! [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg Randy J Smith
October 20, 200322 yr ...hmmm, the PMDG 737NG isn't the only one with VNAV issues... :-eekhttp://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=50970btw, Randy, post #8 in that thread, is that you?Best,Martijn

October 21, 200322 yr Well, it's a very interesting forum and I'm always amazed at how it resembles simmers discussing their virtual aircraft-and the fact, that the real birds have their own glitches and idiosyncrasies too!Only to be expected in such complex products of course, but with real lives at stake...Best,Martijn
