October 28, 200322 yr I'll check it again - but I'm sure, that I used 1280x1024x32. I'm also sure, that the frames dropped, when I activated AA - but the panel still looked not very AA'd. I'll go back to the driver I used before to check it - and will do some screenshots...
October 28, 200322 yr Dave,You mention most everything but your processor / ram.I too am using the "Gainward" card and while I have yet to incorporate the AGP BIOS mod, I see frame rates similar to what you started with: 10-15fps.I installed the new drivers last week and did notice a significant improvement! Hopefully, the AGP change will boost rates more. Thanks for the info.Sean P4 @1.81 gb DDR
October 28, 200322 yr I hit the DEL key at boot up and went to advanced, but I did not have any Advanced Display BIOS, just could decide between PCI and AGP, and the other option was the size like 64mb-256mb? Image Coming... KregE | B757/767 FO
October 30, 200322 yr You say you installed the 52.16 Nvidia drivers. So did I, but now I no longer have control over any of my display settings! I used to be able to change the color temp, but I no longer have this feature. Also, where are you making the following changes?>>1. IMAGE SETTINGS TO HIGH>>2. ANTIALIASING TO X8>>3. ANISOTROPIC FILTERING TO X8>>David Cyber Air 062>What is the exact name of the driver file you installed? Perhaps I have the wrong one. Thanks,Scott
November 2, 200322 yr I played a bit with the AGP settings but couldn't see a difference. If I disable FS9-AA and use the nVidia driver AA frame rates are better but I get problems with other applications running at the same time, like FS Navigator. But what I did notice is the quality improvement of the graphics even without AA on, not in FS9 nor on the driver. While it looked far too pixel'ish with the 45.x driver, the 52.16 driver did the trick for me. I can fly my 737NG with 20FPS (capped there) now with MyTraffic at 100%, weather sliders at full, most others set on default or a bit higher. :)Dirk RademannnVidia nForce2 - AMD 2600+ - 1GB RAM - FX5600 (v52.16)
