Adam,Service Pack SU1.1 is available already - and it's easy to find on the web page as well as to install :)You'll have no problem with installing the product and SU1.1 *now* - after SU2 will be released ("soon"), there will be an easy update path, too.So don't focus on the next patch release date, it doesn't make sense...even after SU2 there will be a 'next' release ;)HansJuergen

Hi HansThe only reason I am concerned is because I have had problems in the past with another payware addon (not PMDG), the initial release of which had loads of bugs - something I really cannot accept when paying good money for a piece of software designed specifically for my OS (Win XP). That addon cost less than the PMDG aircraft and I received a full refund after wasting countless hours of (valuable) time attempting to download patches/fixes/changing CFG text/reading forum posts etc.I'd rather wait to see what reviews people give of the PMDG "SU2" update *when* it appears rather than paying now and sitting around waiting for a fix that has no release date set.CheersAdam

>>I'd rather wait to see what reviews people give of the PMDG>"SU2" update *when* it appears rather than paying now and>sitting around waiting for a fix that has no release date>set.>I think you'll find that people are very happy with PMDG at SU1.1 level - I've flown over 80 hours on VATSIM with it and the experience has been good.SU2.0 adds some more features to the FMC, and fixes some bugs, but these bugs are not issues that render the sim unflyable, they're more the difference between GREAT and ALMOST PERFECT. I think that's evident when you read bug reports on the forum that all start off saying "I LOVE the plane, but can you fix (specific minor issue here)?".If you want to get a feel for what you're missing, download my tutorial from Avsim (do a search on "pmdg metzinger") and just read it and look at the screen shots.

I have downloaded the three W02,03,04 files in case I decide to purchase the 737 - do I still require these patches from the support pages or (as I would expect) are these patches already installed in the latest files?If I DO require to download the patches - which would I need? Both or just the latest one?ThanksAdam
