PMDG 737 & REINSTALLING FS2004

Featured Replies

Hi GuysFor some weird reason I seem to have lost loads of default airports from my FS2004 database. Not sure what to do apart from reinstalling FS2004.Can someone from PMDG let me know the proceedure for reinstalling my PMDG 737NG? 1) Can I just reinstall FS2004 and leave the PMDG files on my hard-drive (and it works) or do I have to do a complete new reinstall of the PMDG software?2) If I have to reinstall PMDG 737NG where do I get my licence info from? I remember in the original install instructions it said a txt file (or similar) would automatically be put on the root of my C: drive. If this is the case what is it called (I cannot find it!).Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will put-off reinstalling FS2004 until I hear from someone:-)Thanks in advanceAdam Moore

Adam, I would use the remover tool from here: http://www.precisionmanuals.com/downloads/..._737_REMOVE.EXE Re-install the BASE (The one you were given the link too with purchace) product followed by this patch: http://www.precisionmanuals.com/downloads/...ation_SU1-1.ZIP Licence + registration is no longer needed with the newest SU patch. Just make sure you backup your original EXE if you ever have to re-install like now ;)[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg

Hi RandyThanks for your quick response. My FS2004 has been gradually becoming more and more "eccentric" over the last few weeks so I think a fresh reinstall is in order!I'll follow your instructions and use the remove tool first (have backed up my PMDG files on my server for extra safety).RegardsAdam Moore
