Whenever I setup for a VNAN des. (reduce alltitude to first waypoint after TOD) I get a message "pth des unavailable". will this be fixed in the patch?Dave FCYYZ

Well that would depend on IF what you are trying to have VNAV do is within it's limits. Please provide the altitude restrictions and distance etc for this exact route and we can tell you.. That FMC message given is for: Within 5 nm or T/D, a path descent is planned, and a computed path is not availible. The correction for this is: Execute a speed descent if desired, or construct an acceptable path, or use MCP for descent.Cheers,[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
