November 12, 200322 yr Hi AdrianThank you very much for the useful link - will browse and download some of the zip files ASAP.CheersAdam MoorePS: Excuse my ignorance but do you know if the txt contained in the zip files can be imported into the PMDG FMC or is it a case of manually entering each SID/STAR?
November 12, 200322 yr Hello AdamJust copy and paste the text files into the sid/stars folderC:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9PMDGSIDSTARSC:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002PMDGSIDSTARSyou may have to overwrite a few files that already exist or move them elsewhere for safe keeping. Once the text files are in the sid/stars folder they will display in the fmc.Simon
December 12, 200322 yr Spent some of last night attempting to find at least one UK airport with complete STAR/SIDs in the 737NG FMC database. A planned trip from EGLL was cancelled after I noticed the FMC database only contained half the required SID routes from EGLL (CPT, DVR, DET) and the arrival airfield (EGBB) contained no STARS! Is there a more comprehensive SID/STAR database I can download to populate the FMC database? The current one is sadly lacking in worldwide information. I could import from FsNav (which has alot more SID/STARS) but then I would lose certain features only found in the FMC.Any ideas?RegardsAdam Moore
