CDU on second monitor

Featured Replies

Hello!Just one question:When I set the CDU on a certain postion on a second monitor (window mode, undocked), then save the flight and load this flight again, the CDU doesn't stay at this position, it is shown on the first monitor. How can I fix this? - I think it should be possible because the PSS - Airbus - CDU also keeps its saved postion.Thank you for your replies,ChrissyP4 2,8 GHz 533Gigabyte ATI 9600pro768 MB RAM

Thank you for your reply. It's a pity because I wanted to put the CDU on the second monitor because it's part of a small home cockpit, and I need the exact position to assign the mouse position (key2mouse in FSBus software). So it could be possible that in the next release this can be done?Thank you,Chrissy

Hi Chrissy and Randy,It is possible to put your cdu on a second monitor I do it on my system with no troubles. I bring up the cdu and undock it and and drag it over to my second monitor with no problems and it stays put for the whole flight.Brett

Hi Chrissy,The problem ha s been discussed on the Avsim general forum and if I remember well there WERE solutions.Search for e.g. "undocked"Hessel Oosten Netherlands

The trick in FS2004 is to be in windowed mode when you save or load the flight.Go to windowed mode, put all the undocked windows where you want, and then save the flight. You can now go to full screen and fly.Next time you want to load the flight, remember to go to windowed mode before.Eric.
