Hi all. I really am seriously thinking of getting the 737 package. So many praises for it, and as many of you know me, I am an airliner nut... having owned PMDG items in the past, but not since FLY! was out... I am also a frame rate ######, only flying my favorite airliners with the default panels, but alas, I need realism now, systems etc.Currently my system is a P4, 1.5, 512 RDRAM, Win XP, Radeon 9700 PRO. I also run in 1600x1200x16 with most sliders half to full, and a great frame rate with little stutters of around 25 to 45 (25 in forward 2D views, 30 in VC views (defualt 733) and 45 out the sides and rear window views in my Ariane 737)....pretty good...however, If I am wiling to cut sliders down a lot, and cut to only 2D clouds, AND by having the awesome Radeon 9700 PRO, can I run this product smoothly, stutter-free and with fairly high frame rates of 20+.... ??????in the 2d view (I heard VC runs poorly)....lemme know!thanks all!- Peter James

Hey Peter, You have a great video card and what I would call the minimum amount of ram. I hate to tell people what they will get on their particular system but in general if you cut back on certain sliders (fs9) you should be ok, just do not wish for the sky ;)[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Peter,My system is as follows:AMD Athlon XP20001024MB PC1600 RAMNVIDIA FX5200 128Mb GraphicsWin XP Home editionWith FPS locked at 20 I consistently get 20FPS with no stuttering.The Athlon chip I have is not that much different in temrs of speed than a 1.5 P4.An extra 512MB of ram will help your sim run a lot smoother.

My system is as follows:P.4 1.5 On The Processor768MB PC2100Nvidia Getforce 64MBand i recive a good amount of FPS unless i am flying through clouds then it gets kind of low but managable plus i have a couple of sliders in full mode like the scenery and so on. Best Regards Adib Afraj

Ok all DON'T LAUGH!My System is a PIII-1GHZ DUAL CPU, 1Gig of RAM, Geforce 4 ti4600 128MB Card, and I can run the PMDG Just fine. I can't say it's ever unflyable, even with the stuff cranked. Sure I can knock down the FPS, but the bird still handles well.If I can do it with this system, so can you. Enjoy.Paul.
