December 2, 200322 yr Hello,I have put in about 10 or so hours in the 737NG now, and have generated a few questions:1) Where in the cockpit can I find the current time (GMT)?2) Where is radar altitude shown? On the ND, I see "radio 200", regardless of my altitude. (See picture attachment)3) On the picture I have attached, can anyone tell me what the bottom-right figure on the FMC is? It says "Fuel Quantity 7.0".4) On some of the longer flights, I have tried 2X speed. Does selecting a higher simulation rate have any negative effect on program stability? Thanks,Kenny Rogers
December 2, 200322 yr Well I will hit a couple of those for you ;)1] The Approach panel has the clock, hit A on the panel switcher right above the PFD2] It's on the bottom CENTER of the PFD. This NOW has a black border like the real NG.3] I think that is incorrect, I would not even bother paying attention Kenny to this since it is completly 100% correct in SU2, I can say that with 2 real world flight dispatchers on our beta team! 4] Have no idea, then again you are refering to SU1-1, please check this in SU2, I would start to take the christmas ham out early ;) Here's a shot of the new PFD, notice the -4, that's the radio altitude. I will let you figure out what the 200 stands for ;), look on your EFIS panel for a hint..http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/50927.jpgCheers,[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. December 2, 200322 yr Hi,I'll try another answer than Randy's on number three! ;-)I think this is showing present fuel! And I'm sure someone who knows better will correct me if I'm wrong! ;-)EDIT: Just looked at your picture again and saw the amount 7,0 is less than what you will have when arriving but I still think this figure should show present fuel. Duh...Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|

December 2, 200322 yr Thanks for the quick replies. Ok, let me guess...the "200 Radio Alt" means that is what I currently have set for my ILS minimums, am I right? BTW, the 107 kt headwind was with "real world weather" selected. Very long trip!Kenny Rogers
December 2, 200322 yr Let me just add to your question number 1. I believe that if you just hit the "A" and you get the approach panel you won't be able to see the GMT time on the clock. You have to press the right button on the clock, top right if I remember correctly. I think it defaults to local time...right?Mikkel
December 2, 200322 yr At work, out to lunch, but will be back on IM at 1200Z approxRegards, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
December 2, 200322 yr I often use 2X with the PM737 on long flights. It handles it with no problems. However, ATC commands also speed up. The speech is all right, but the end of commands can get cut off if they start comming fast, so you have to keep a close ear on them. I also only use 2X in level flight. John Fitzpatrick
