December 4, 200322 yr I am thoroughly enjoying my brand new PMDG 737 package. One small thing, when I select the Dep airport in the Dep/arr page I get a "program error" message. However, when I select the destination airport everything is fine and all the runways and stars come up.Can anyone help me solve this, so I can include sids in my routes?Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
December 4, 200322 yr Hello LeeI suspect your using an old sid/stars file that contains a waypoint that is no longer in the latest airac.Does this happen with just one airport, try a range of dep airports. What is the dep airport giving you the problem? there may be a quick fix. Theres a recent thread that lists sites for user written sid/stars. SU2 is just around the corner too which promises new sid/stars aswell.Simon
December 4, 200322 yr Author I'm using the most recent sid/star data off the PMDG web page. It sounds like you might be right. Perhaps there are errors in the database. Hopefully that will get cleared up soon.Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
December 4, 200322 yr I hav enoticed the same problem at EGPF (Glasgow) I have Airac 0312 installed but it does not recognise "GOW24", which is mentioned in the SIDS and no runways or SIDS are shown from the dep airport.Do you think the fault is with the SID file which I am sure I could edit?CheersTerry
December 5, 200322 yr Hello TerryThe GOW24 is listed in the TRN2A sid from RWY 23 in the sid/stars file. Change the GOW24 to GOW31 and save the file and all should be well. You can delete the other runways in this line too, leaving RWY 23. The file is found in this path C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9PMDGSIDSTARS.Simon
December 5, 200322 yr Thanks for your help I shall edit that this evening and try another flight in the 737 I am trying to learn my way around this panel and think it is really good.CheersTerry
