December 13, 200322 yr Guys-Since SU2 is imminent I don't know if this will matter but, when I updated to FSUIPC 3.129 my overhead panel graphics became corrupted. Has anyone else had this happen?Thanks-
December 13, 200322 yr Hi Mike,No problem here either and I have done two flights with the PMDG737-700 with FSUIPC 3.129 and everything worked flawlessly.I would really question if FSUIPC would do that anyway, it does not touch your aircraft textures or the guages directly. If there was any interaction it would have affected all your guages.Just my 2centsBob
December 13, 200322 yr Bob-It's a mystery to me. If I use FSUIPC 3.125, all works fine. If I use 3.128, when my flight begins the PFD and ND are dark (I don't do "cold & dark" startups). If I use 3.129, I get the corrupted overhead panel graphics. If it isn't a FSUIPC issue, I'm stumped when the only thing changing is the version. When swapping versions, do I need to do anything other than overwriting the fsuipc.dll file? I noticed there is also an .ini file and one other related to fsuipc in there (sorry, not at home to check file name).Thanks-
December 13, 200322 yr Mike,It is recommended that you delete the .ini file. It then gets rewritten.Tom
December 13, 200322 yr My same suggestion, I think there must be something in that .ini file that is causing the problem. If 3.125 works fine and we know there was a problem with 3.128 then that has to be it.If that fixes it, please post, will let Pete know.ThanksBob
December 13, 200322 yr Bob-Went in and deleted fsuipc.dll, fsuipc.ini, and fsuipc.log. Then reinstalled fsuipc.dll for version 3.129. Opened up MSFS 2004, went to default flight, set parameters in FSUIPC menu, exited module, exited flight, shut down MSFS. Restarted MSFS and went to PMDG 737. All looks OK! Graphic corruption in overhead panel gone. Looks like deleting all 3 files before re-install did the trick. Thanks all for your comments and help!
