GuysDid anyone see the New Boston Logan Intl. Scenery upgrade that was posted recently on Avsim....and does anyone know, or are anyone willing to make ALL runways in FS9 look like those on this scenery...they are So realistic!!! I mean Black tyre marks at both ends are much better looking and concentrated at each end and less so in the middle parts...just like in the real world. The taxiways are also VERY realistic.........if someone can upgrade the runways and taxiway textures for ALL runways in FS9 that would be awsome !!!!!Sorry to be a bit off the topic here !!!! But try this scenery and you will be amazed !!!!!!!!! Maybe it will keep your mind of things for a while (while we wait)Cheers !

Pieter, yes, that is a nice bit 'o kit. Very easy on framerates with the NG and with the detail included, makes just taxing around a pleasent exercise. Highly recommended.

That would be an insane task. The KBOS scenery is fantastic, but the runways and taxiways are built as scenery objects, and to implement that for every airport in the world would probably take about 7,000 hours.Any volunteers? :-lolVinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gifhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

i thought all the major airports in fs9 used only a few common texture files for runways and taxiways. If so a simple replace and rename should work.is this correct?

I see....Just though one might be able to at least change the textures of the default runways on FS9 to reflect something similar to these textures..I mean the default fs9 runway textures have black tyre marks even halfway through the runway as if it is one long continueous black stripe...... shouldn't lit look like this :http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52935.jpg

I want all my runways to looks like that! Just the best freeware airport ever released! It actually looks better than some airfields. What can one say other than put the best payware aircraft ever developed on that runway and [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg

Wow that does look good.Keith Yingling

I sure will try it out when I get SU2 installed. Btw, can you recommend a 737NG carrier and a nice flight in and out of KBOS that I can fly when the time comes? And hopefully a carrier that's part of the livery re-release too? ;-)That would be great. :)

Frank, I took a look around the scenery and found the following airlines. Continental - Real world liveryhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52950.jpgAmerican Airlines - Fantasy livery for the 700 but real world 800 livery to followhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52952.jpgDelta Airlines - Fantasy livery for the 700 with real world 800 livery to followhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52953.jpgUSAir - Fantasy livery for the 700 with Classic and current liveryhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52955.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52956.jpgThere are other airlines serving KBOS just not sure if any other PMDG livery would cover.

Thanks a bunch for those. That'll sure give me more than enough wonderful liveries and carriers to fly in and out of KBOS with. :)Regards,
