December 17, 200322 yr Hello Holger, actually with SU2 when you select a PMDG 737 aircraft it's already in cold and dark configuration with everything in the right position. :-)Regards,Bjorn

December 17, 200322 yr Hi,Here's how to load it from the opening screen of the flight sim:1. choose Select a Flight2. Scroll down and choose PMDG from category3. select PMDG 737-700 Cold and DarkYou can then either choose Fly Now! - note that there is a checkbox to make this your default flight. The other thing you can do is locate the plane where you want the situation to start (in whatever configuration you want), and then save that as your default flight. The next time you start the sim, you'll go to that flight (assuming you default to loading your default flight upon starting the app)Jim Mendes
December 17, 200322 yr One of the things I happened to notice when cleaning up, the PMDG Remove utility does NOT clear out the original Cold and Dark version.I removed this directory prior to the installation of the new 1.2 install and my Cold and Dark is different then the original which had you pointing at the building with the engines running.I wonder if some of you had problems overwriting this file when you did the install so you still have the old one which has you pointed directly at the building with the fuel cutoff values in the run position. The new file has you pointed ready to go instead of directly at the building so you'll know as soon as the "Cold & Dark" loads which one you have...Ray
December 17, 200322 yr Author i tried to load the cold and dark situation and the airplane went totally bananas...i will not describe every single issue here, just believe me, i found myself 3000ft high, engines running full power, no electricity...well, the rest is history or a big crater, better said....could one provide me with the updated cold-dark-situation-file, please???Thanks in advanceHolger [email protected] Holger Kneib
December 17, 200322 yr The easiest method and the one I use is just shut down the default C172 or whatever you use when FS starts. Turn off the Batt. and mags. DO NOT TURN OFF THE AVIONICS SWITCH. Some people have had an issue with this causing problems. Then load the PMDG737, you should find it cold and dark. Works everytime for me. John Fitzpatrick
