January 2, 200422 yr I just replayed an autoland and watched it from the VC. I was surprised to see the control columns being pulled backwards after the nose wheel had come down. It was nothing I had done, I had pushed my joystick forward to get the nosewheel down but then released it, I definitely didn't pull it back.I've also been wondering about the correct procedure when landing with the autopilot off but with the autothrottle on to maintain Vref+5, and exactly when to disconnect the autothrottle. I found a very interesting thread here http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.ph...&threadid=71973 and so thought I would see if the PMDG 737 autothrottle would behave as mentioned, i.e. that it would disconnect at 27 feet. Yep it does.Congrats guys, just one more little touch of authenticity.John
January 3, 200422 yr The A/T will disconnect a few seconds after T/D. Another little item that adds so much...[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg Randy J Smith
