Hi Daniel, I'm glad you like it!

High.I just have to express my gratitude. This piece of software has helped me in more ways than you'd expect.Bottom line: The Bird has become even more enjoyable to me.Quite an achievement, Ross. Thank you.

Excellent ... I'm glad do hear that! Thanks for the feedback.

Ross,First of all, thanks for a great little utility that makes the NG even mor fun! I wouldn't plan a flight without it!I do have a couple of things on my "nice to have" list, if you update your fuel planner, perhaps for the upcoming 800/900:1. It would be nice to have more altiutude choices beyond FL370, possibly up to FL410, since the NG FMC frequently suggests FLs 390, 400, 410 for longer flights. Also, a couple of choices below 270 would be nice for those shorter hops (e.g. LSGG-LSZH and LSZH-EDDM, both are ~130 nm) where common en route altitudes are between FL190 and 250, even for jets.2. Alternate distances of less than 200nm, here in Europe alternates tend to be rather close. suggested alternate for LSZH (Zurich) is frequently LFSB (Euroairport Basle) (50nm) and for EDDM (munich Franz Josef Strauss)it's EDDN (Nuremberg)most of the time (85 nm). So how about maybe an additional 100nm alternate distance, maybe also a 150nm trip distance choice. The short distances to alternates are not even unrealistic here in Switzerland, only last week LFSB and LSGG (Geneva) were closed due to heavy snowshowers, while LSZH was operating normally with minimal delays. Like I said, this would be nice to have, but only if feasibel and easy to implement. Especially on thos shorter trips, I usually end up with 10k+ lbs of fuel remaining in the tanks upon shutdown at the gate. Of course this is preferable to flying on Jet-A fumes ;-)Again, thanks and keep up the great work!Best RegardsMax (Bern, LSZB)http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpg http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg

Hi Max, thanks for the suggestions. Many others have requested those things as well ... the reason those options don't exist is because the data for fuel consumption doesn't exist in the manuals we were given with the aircraft. Since the program draws its data from those tables, then I cannot provide options for other flight levels or shorter alternate distances, since the fuel consumption would have to be interpolated. That isn't accurate enough, in my opinion, so I left it out.If we were to get consumption data from PMDG (hint, hint) then I will certainly update the program. Thanks again!
