February 21, 200422 yr I suggest you change the MCP to your new level. This will send the new flightlevel to the scratchpad to let you enter this new altitude on the CLB page. Step climbs as in the 767 is not impemented in this version of the FMS. As it is is a short to medium haul aircraft step climbs are seldomly used! We'll see if this option comes with the -800/900. Seen some glimps of good stuff so far! ;-)Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
February 22, 200422 yr What I do for step climbs is fairly simple.I set the FMC for the final cruise altitude. After receiving clearance to climb to cruise alt.I set the MCP to the altitude of the "first step"After the fisrt step is reached and have burnt offenough fuel, I then set the MCP to climb to the next stepI do this until final cruise alt is reached.
