1900 FD and AP Question

Featured Replies

I am looking to see if anyone else has had trouble with the FD and AP when used with Jetline2. When I try to capture a VOR radial the FD constantly wants to turn to the left. The CDI can be hand flown and followed, but the FD still wants to turn to the left. I can get it to recognize localizers in the APP mode (however very touchy) My questions are:1) is the nav on the AP/FD actually a working device in 1900s?2) has anyone else experiance this?I have submitted these questions on the RXP forum as well, but thought I might find someone here with an answer also. Not a big deal because it is so great to hand fly, but it makes potty breaks a little easier when the winds are heavy. Hee HeeThanks,Scott Burke

1) is the nav on the AP/FD actually a working device in 1900sYes2) has anyone else experiance this?PMDG Beta testers have not seen this, nor have any reports come into PMDG support regarding this issue.I would suggest waiting for an answer at the RXP Forum. Perhaps you are using the gauge incorrectly?VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

Thanks Vin,I changed from the JL2 only panel to the JL2 and Garmin 530 panel and the problem seems to be fixed. I believe that the default gps which is not openable when using the JL2 only panel was set to track the GPS and not VLOC, thus producing the results I was having. I haven't yet had any responses on the RXP forum, but if I do hear something interesting I will pass it along here.scott
