Edited versevening all, i was doing abit of research earlier to find out the differences in the 800/900 and i found out that the 800 was a all round better a/c than the 900..... (thats my opinion anyway) http://www.boeing.com/commercial/737family/technical.htmlthe 900 is slightly longer (one would think that more length = more seats what have they done with thw extra space????)they both have the same mtow and same number of seats in a "Y" class layout yet in a "CY" layout the 900 can hold more "C" seats. 800=162 900=172 the 800 has a better range than its larger brother even though the mtow's are the same, you can get a few more bags in the 900yet there is no need for the added bag space because there are the same number of passengers..... (ok you could squeeze a little mail/cargo)So whats the crack??? Commerciallly what do you think is better??why produce an a/c with so little differences???"Lairy"Liam Reynolds

and no im not digging at PMDG im asking from the point of view of our "real world counterparts"its purley not understanding that has spured me to ask this question.please this is no way anything to do with the sim that if is better than the 700 were going to have a hell of a a/c ..thought id make that point clearLiam Reynolds

I think that is a question for Boeing, not PMDG. To me PMDG are giving us MORE than the 800, it's brother the 900, what people choose to do with it is there business ;), I am sure some folks like the 900 better although I perfer the 800 myself. My point is it's GREAT to have them both regarless of how simular they are, one could make the same argument for the 600-700 series .....[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. of course it has but there is a big differnece between the 600/700 and the 800... the 900 though is so slightly different in a few waysi just want to understand why and i hope a some one here can help...#Liam
