Joystick Throttle Problem when disengaging Auto Throttle

Featured Replies

When I disconnect the auto throttle, the throttle on my joystick fails to function properly. If you move it, the engines go to about 70% N1 and stay there. You cannot adjust the throttle after that point. You can press numpad 3, and it will straight away engage the reversers, and you can increase with numpad 9. But you can't use the throttle.Any one else having this issue?Thnaks for any help.-Phil

Hmm I didnt understand it 100%, but maybe your N1 is limited to 70%.

Yeah, sorry about that. It is pretty confusing. Lets go on a little flight then.Startup the engines, taxi to the runway takeoff. Everythings working fine. Engage autopilot/autothrottle.Coming into land, disengage autopilot/autothrottle at about 10 miles, throttle on the joystick no longer functions. Engines rev up to 70% N1 and stay there, no matter what my joystick throttle levere is doing. -Phil

Phil,Did you recently get this problem? Have the throttles worked before without any problems? Is your joystick a USB device?Let's see if we can't get you going,
