Beech 1900D Sounds ?

Featured Replies

Is there a better choice for sounds available other than the default KingAir or are these quite suitable?ThanksSteveCYYZ

Steve,The B1900 is one of my favourites for FS2K2.Here is my pick for the best package.1. Mike Stone's sb1900d1.zip ... a choice of four liveries. Great aircraft but flight dynamics pretty average.2. So replace air file with that of Steve Small from b19sky22.zip.3. Use Barry Blaisdell's great B 1900 panel from Premier Aircraft Design.4. Choice of two great sound files: lmtprppk.zip by Leon Medado (my pick) or smtbprop.zip by Reinhard Herrmann.Put all of these together and you'll have a fantastic package. You can download them easily enough from Avsim or Flightsim.

I will agree with Aviator; I actually downloaded the panel/sound package from Premier Aircraft Design (www.flightsimnetwork.com/premaircraft) and I am quite satisfied with the quality of the sounds (kind of a mixture between default caravan, king air, and some other sounds). Thrown together, they sound very much like the real thing (i've heard the real B1900D many many times lol). As for the other sound packages, I'm not sure, but I'm always game to find out! :)George
