April 27, 200422 yr During a descent into LAX following the Palmdale approach to 24R, I recieved a VNAV disconnect at about FL150. I attempted to re-engage VNAV but no luck. What would cause a disconnect? I was on speed and following the descent profile.Dave FisherCYYZP4 2.8 GB 478P 533 MHZ CPUP4P800S Asus Motherboard512 DDRGeforce Ti 4200/128Maxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HDhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

April 27, 200422 yr Could it be you had an AT failure or N1 dis-symmetry ?I posted info on this. Search the forum on VNAV DISCONNECT.anthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com
April 27, 200422 yr Author Thanks Anthony, that post explained it. During descent I had a wind shift that wasn't programed into the forcast page, causing an overspeed disconnect after that I lost the profile so VNAV disconnected.Dave FisherCYYZP4 2.8 GB 478P 533 MHZ CPUP4P800S Asus Motherboard512 DDRGeforce Ti 4200/128Maxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HDhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
