No Wing Lights on 700?

Featured Replies

My wing lights don't appear to do much since the update either, for any variant.

Thanks for the reply Etienne. At least I know it's not something on my system. I hope this issue can be addressed when the other problems are fixed.Bruce Nicholson

For users of the 8900 upgrade, this issue will be addressed when the 6700 Model upgrade is issued. However, you should be seeing them NOW on the 800 and 900. Be sure that you have hardware rendered lights set to 8 in your Settings>display>hardwareVinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

Just a quick note, perhaps I'm not sure what I'm looking for on the 800/900. All lights have an effect I can see, except the wing lights (I see lights, but no effect on the wings.H/w lights set to 8. I'm sure it's working, just perhaps not as I expect. Is there a pic you can post to illustrate the effect?Regards

I wanted to post this before going to the Maintenance Status Board.I used to have wing lights showing the leading edge of the wing when viewed from the cockpit at night. Since I installed the 800/900 upgrade, my 737-700 no longer has visible wing lights at night. Can anyone else confirm this is the case with their 700 version?Bruce

On the 800/900 there's no need to do this "workaround". Hope it helps on those icy nights before takeoff!Lu
