May 5, 200422 yr I am having a hard time stablilizing the ground steering on the 737-800. When I turn to the left or right it oversteers and when I turn back it oversteers in the other direction. I have tweaked it extesnsively and tried a variety of joysticks and pedals. This may be a MSFS problem. Any ideas?Ed Farleyhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg
May 5, 200422 yr Hi Ed,Are you using FSUIPC? You may want to try to use some of the control settings.Check the external view and look at how the rudder moves. If you are getting strange movement on the rudder, chances are your having some kind of hardware/driver issue. Also, is this happening only using the 800? How about FS default models? George Morris
May 6, 200422 yr Author George,I have FSUIPC and am fully registered. The default Microsoft 737 acts the same way. I have adjusted the sliders one more time. I checked the external view from behind the aircraft and discovered the rudder is slow to snap back to center. This is a problem with all null settings. Thanks for the response.
May 6, 200422 yr Naw I have that issue (I really believe it's the way it is on all aircraft) no matter how much I turn down the sensitivity it still way too much. Only gets better when one speeds up on the TO roll..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
