600/700 retro' cockpit upgrade with 800/900

Featured Replies

When the 800/900 upgrade was nearing completion it was anounced that as Microsoft had eventually released the nessesary SDKs the cockpit would have all bells and whistles (i.e. grabable controls, rain drops, etc. in the VC) in addition to the other extras like the glass reflections. Also, as part of the upgrade these modifications would be retro fitted to the 600/700 thereby making the package more complete and fully justifying the need to own/buy both planes. When the 800/900 was released not all the promissed updates to the 600/700 series where included, as it was pointed out this would make the download un-acceptably high to those without a broadband conection (fair enough). The updates comming a little later as a seperate package/addon for those who had purchased the 800/900.I was therefore wondering if there was any progress on this or any idea of a release date?cheers

cheers johnno need for apology, i was just wondering as it had all gone quiet, i am sure everyone is glad that the 800/900 was released when it was rather than waiting for the tests on the older plane to be finished. the icing on the cake is nice but we are all glad to have the cake first, we can wait for the icing untill it is done. gives us something to look forward to :)

sorry to keep on but there are so many posts in the pegged threads most questions disapear before they are answered.

Bruce>most questions disapear before they are answeredThey don't disappear! They just move to page two! There's a good reason to check those following pages as well you know. ;-)The beta team has been testing a batch of files. It was sent back to the dev team after that. Also Mr. Randazzo, a.k.a the Installer-guru, has been on leave for quite while now. The team will announce when they have anything for you guys. Just relax and enjoy what you have ok?Cheers,
