Hey PMDGBought your 737 package and love it to bits.Having a little trouble though.1. While using the 737-800 taxiing to parking, one of the AI traffic crashed into my plane causing the program to recognise this as a aircraft collision. I don't think FS2004 recognised the 737-800 as being there, might be a prob from my end I dont know,2. When I change views, when the engines are running, sometimes I get this horrible distorted sound, kinda like TV static, playing through the speakers. It dissapears after a while sometimes, but if I change views again, the distortion returns. If I keep the view either in the 2D or 3D cockpit views, and changing between these two views, the distortion stays away.Do you have any ideas into what could be causing this? whether it be a prob from my end or not?Nathan.

1] Well I just disable crash detection simply cause it is a headache with ANY aircraft. 2] Yes this most likely a soundblaster issue(I assume you are running one) and is a well known issue. Simply download the newest ref drivers from www.soundblaster.com and it should cure you exterior static issue.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. The drivers don't help. In fact, it's gotten worse.

Bob they helped me. In fact I was the first person to have this issue and found it was the drivers. I managed to get rid of the noise by experimenting with various SB drivers, Bob. I ended up using "3509.2.0.0" for my SoundBlaster Live Value. I'm not sure if this is the latest driver (I think I had problems with those) or if it is compatible with your system/card. I'm now running full sound acceleration.Hope this helps.Cheers.Ian.
