May 9, 200422 yr when you program the FMC on the legs page, do you also have to enter the altitude at each fix or waypoint?if yes, what happens if you don't have that information?do you just leave it blank? I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
May 9, 200422 yr Negative. The FMC will calculate your altitude for you. If you enter an altitude, the FMC will do its best to meet that constraint.
May 9, 200422 yr Just make SURE to CHOOSE a cruise altitude ;-)[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/betaimg.jpgAMD 64 3200+ | ASUS KV8 DELUXE | GFORCE 5700 ULTRA @535/1000 | WD SATA 80 GIG | 512 DDR 400 | Randy J Smith
May 9, 200422 yr Author thx so in reality you don't need to add speed or alt on the fmc only the waypoints? and the FMC will do the resT? I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
May 9, 200422 yr As Randy said you need a cruise alt. The proper FMC preflight flow is covered in my tutorial and Tim Metzinger's tutorial, I suggest you take a look at how the FMC is preflighted. In my tutorial, I cover only what is really necessary to get the plane off of the ground.
